A Good Wife
I'm a lucky stiff; I am truly blessed
When I come home, I'm met with a kiss
Dinner is prepared; it's my favorite dish
This woman that I married grants me every wish
Always has the time to make herself look good
She knows it is her job and it is understood
That I am worn and tired from working hard all day
It is her duty and she always does obey
She always has a smile on her pretty face
Looks mighty tasty in satin and lace
The house is always clean as if we had no kids
This sweet little woman; clutter she does rid
The tables are all dusted they shine just like brand knew
It is only obvious her love for me is true
She gets her satisfaction when I feel at rest
So my pretty woman always does her best
To make sure all the children do not make a sound
Sometimes I'm not sure if they are around
I don't know how she does it they always look so neat
I love it when my children massage my aching feet
She puts the children down and gets me a cold brew
Sets herself beside me "My desire is to please you"
I tell her that I'm tired and talk about my day
This woman is so special, she never does complain
She doesn't speak a word unless I tell her too
I try to let her do the things she always loves to do
Like making sure I'm happy and feeling so relaxed
She has me to lay down and massages my back
She knows that I'm the master and what I say does go
She never asks me questions she already knows
That I am the husband she's just a pretty face
She is the wife; and a good wife always knows her place
