NOT TODAY

He won't call me today
I can bet
He wants his way
My way to forget

He won't see me until the night
Then for only a few minutes at work
He'll go home where he feels right
While my distaste for both of them will lurk

I can stop it if I chose
He can give me back my keys
He can have her and we'll lose
The us we know that tries to please

He throws me away
After sex and fun are given
He goes home to her today
It's where he is living

Not with me
We're not that good
He wants free
It's understood

He loves her
Though as a friend
Things go on as they were
So we are going to end

Don't see him this week
You're strong alone
Self love you seek
Forget his voice on the phone

Because he won't call
And if he does
He won't give his all
And she's the cause

We are gone
She replaces
You turn her on
You've lost my graces.
