ALWAYS THERE IS MY GOD

Good things will come if you pray
As the soft smooth sheets I slept in all day
And if you think your man's a curse
Go it alone, it won't be worse

Let him have his friend until
She's out of his life by his will
Because he has both of you
You pull back until he's true

To just one woman here or there
No more will he have me and share
His living space with an exgirlfriend
I'll stay alone without any men

In my life
Don't need the strife
Of wondering now
If he'll come through for me somehow

Because he says no
"No", he can't go
His life is there with his friend
I'll pray, let go, let God begin.
