 A  Fool

the stillness of the waters
eased my mind
as I floated back to find
two beautiful faithful swans
waited for each other
I am the one
who has wasted time
forgetting that the beauty
of it all
has been with me
all along
fluffy white clouds
pale light blue skies
hanging over the sun's golden rays
spreading generous
light
upon the flowers, trees, grass
and waters there in
foolish of me
not to take notice
when it has been with me
all the time
