Whimsical Thoughts On Pages Of Blue
Whimsical thoughts on pages of blue,
Whispered on air and carried to you,
Caught on a breeze that blows on your face,
A moment, a memory, a time, and a place,
The clock ticks away, the minutes, the hours,
I move into May, kiss goodbye, April showers,
Travel plans now in place, I will be with you soon,
I will fly to your arms, how we'll laugh at the moon!
Hand in hand on the shore of a far distant beach,
Make our wish on a star not too far out of reach,
Tonight, there's a song that reminds me of you,
Hence these whimsical thoughts,
On pages of blue.
