Orderly's Prayer #233
Orderly's Prayer She says, "I love you, Dear" while he opens up the door. And he says, "I love you, Sunshine Girl, I love you more and more..." Then they walk the halls together as her golden years turn gray, Just want to ask, "You bless us, Lord, with another Beautiful day." Just want to say, "We thank you, Lord, for all that you have done." Just want to ask, "You bless them, Lord, Please, bless them every one." Lord, though their minds grow feeble and lose the words to say, Just want to ask, "You bless us, Lord, with another Beautiful day." He says, "You can't see, here, but your written in my heart." And he says, "I love you, Mister Coal, though complications start..." Then they hold their hands together, as they both begin to pray, Just want to ask, "You bless us, Lord, with another Beautiful day." Just want to say, "We thank you, Lord, for all that you have done." Just want to ask, "You bless them, Lord, Please, bless them every one." Lord, while you take some upward, Yes, I know that comes what may, Just want to ask, "You bless us, Lord, with another Beautiful day." We just want to thank you, Lord, for every Beautiful day. -Lighthouse Bob Comment On This Poem ---
