Silvery Passion
Silvery Passion
The moon has turned the lake silver
As if it poured the stars from the sky
Now to dance upon its surface
A tarantella born from on high
Glistening beats now exploding
In frenzy they continue to dance
Like couples caught on a dance floor
Indulging in sheer romance
Shimmering fusing together
Exploding as if it were one
A rhapsody meant to be spoken
When the crescendo is finally done
The surface wrapped up in silver
Facets of warmth touch the heart
Its beauty shown only to lovers
A magical work of art
Now calm this silvery passion
That causes lovers to swoon
A breathtaking moment has ended
By the light of the silvery moon
