THE CHRISTENING

THE CHRISTENING

Rebecca Jade was being christened
And although Kieran should have listened
He got fed up without a doubt
And so his Grandad took him out.

Into the grounds he took the lad
Among the graves it was quite sad,
Kieran gave Grandad a sombre look
So Kieran`s photo Grandad took.

All dressed and tidy in his suit
A good photo is was to shoot,
Among the graves he looks the part
To be there on the day you depart.

He looks like an under-taker,
Who`ll help you to meet your maker.
Rubbing his hands he gives a smile
I will see you in a short while.

It`s not true I have to say
He`s just a boy who loves to play
An under-taker he is not
Although he looks part of the plot.
