If Cinderella got her prince,
And Aladdin got his Princess,
In Pinocchio became a real boy,
Why hasn't my fairytale come real yet?
If Peter was allowed to live as a child,
If Winnie always found his honey,
If Bambi finally had his own baby,
If Robin Hood could nick all that money.
Beauty was able to tame a beast,
Anastasia finally found her home,
The Lion King lived happily ever after,
The last pig only lived 'coz his house was made of stone.
Ariel finally became a human,
And Snow White outlived the witch,
I Dumbo could become a famous elephant,
If Lilo finally bonded with Stitch.
If Sleeping Beauty finally got her life saving kiss,
If Lady finally found her tramp,
If Mowgli escaped Shere Khan the tiger,
Why can't I find a magic genie in a lamp?
If the Hunchback stopped ringing bells,
If Pocahontas saved her world,
If all fairy tales have a happy ending,
Why am I still waiting to be his girl?
