Heart Of The Matter
And She Is Free
A windswept cliff,
On Erin's shore,
Bleakly barren,
How bitter the wind,
No longer whispering,
But howling,
Deep into the depths,
Of despair,
The cliff welcoming,
The sea,
A border to be breached,
And once crossed,
In safe passage,
Sanctuary is found,
And she is free,
And so, she flew,
Rising high,
Above puff ball clouds,
Her homeland far away,
In the distance,
The light shines,
A promise of fruition,
Apathy deceased,
To mourn no more,
She is home,
She is loved,
And she is free.
