Thank you GodThat cloud i saw pointing at the moon, Like a hand would point when being rude. That other cloud that showed a face, Looking at me with belief but disgrace. The star i saw in the bright night sky, Showed there is truth to my life no reason to cry. The same way that star showed the wise men to the lord, Showed me that to live is my only reward. I could see the clouds moving the lips of that face, If only it was my imagination still it put me in my place. To read from them lips if only what i wanted to see, You told me i can beat this and will someday be set free. But i know from the way that the face looked in pity, That i can stand stronger than the worlds biggest city. For past is past and present is now, And i have the ability to stand out in a crowd. No shame should i feel for not a wrong have i done, No self pity is worthy of what happened some how. Though i cried whilst i watched the face start to fade, As i wanted to see a smile on the face. It disappeared so quickly and the hand that pointed to the moon, Was that a hint that it will all be over soon?. I know nothing but what i believe, But you rule heaven the land and the sea. You came to me through a warm summers night, Though i don't know if what i seen was entirely right. I know i was not dreaming i know I'm not insane, But please tell me what it was that you were trying to say. You looked angry with me and i don't understand, What you meant to explain through a clouded face and hand. And also that star that kept my eyes glued, Was it you dear Lord if so i thank you!.
