Combat boots of the american soldier
form a circle in the sand,
a hero inside them fights with such honor
at our freedom's command.
Some will come home to their family
while others perish in the fight,
what they endure for our country
we must thank them day and night.
Ones that survive will know that they
did all they could to make injustice cease,
when the war ends one fine day
the fallen can finally rest in peace.
And although the march will come to an end
their souls will live in infamy,
for they did not think twice to defend
they sacrificed with such dignity!
