Awaiting Angel
She patiently awaits for his return,
hoping everything is alright,
She rules the day when she sees his face,
and he will arrive this night.
He left her standing in the midst
alone,
She brushed his face with a kiss
then he was gone.
Does he know that she's waiting
so patently,
for the one she loves
so truly.
She says a prayer in her heart
for her soldier to come home,
And never again shall thier
love have to roam.
