Before Hello Became Goodbye
No worst a fate can be described
Than that of love when it too dies
Inside of them you once would say
Would never leave your heart this way
Distance now comes between the lines
That separate what you called mine
She is, He is your heart did plead
The missing link, the very need
You pace yourself and get no where
Confused the state, this sad affair
Will bring much pain in arms it holds
Love once kept safe, Goodbye now stole
Hello was good, your starting point
Goodbye back stood to disappoint
What one expects when love flowed free
Asking yourself, how could this be
Before hello became goodbye
You danced and shared romance and sighs
You never dreamed that this would end
Today loves wound, bandage we tend
Good news will come but not today
Sorry you'll be is what you'll say
But keep the faith, for there is one
Replacing love when one has none
