 Carol's Journey

Abundant Supply

You deposit money in your bank account
But if you are not careful, it will run out
Preparing a budget will keep you on track
Avoid charging on credit for what you lack

Without certain things you will not survive
You need daily food and water to stay alive
A place to reside for shelter from the storm
For the homeless, it is a luxury, not the norm

There is a spiritual parallel for all of us to see
Jesus came to give abundant life to you and me
He is the Bread of Life in plenteous supply
The Living Water of the Spirit never runs dry

There may be storms of trouble in your life
You need shelter to escape from all the strife
Whatever situation you face, God loves you
Come to Him exactly the way you are, too

Are you tired of running away from your past?
Guilt deep inside makes you feel like an outcast
Only Jesus can fill the emptiness in your soul
When you invite Him in, He makes you whole

John 6:35 (NIV)
Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life.
He who comes to me will never go hungry, and
he who believes in me will never be thirsty.”

John 7:38 (NIV)
“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
streams of living water will flow from within him."
