What we portray is not always true
For inside we may be feeling blue,
Heavy hearted but we don`t let it show
For we don`t want anyone to know.
When we are happy we can`t hide it,
We don`t want to, we want to share it,
So we smile and it soon catches on,
For a while all our cares and woes are gone.
No matter what front we care to show
What we`re really like people will know,
Our kindness and goodness is not a duty,
What shines thru` is our natural beauty.
