The keepers _

Do you have it in you sister
do you have the strength to stand.
Has your health become the issue
is it time to make amends.

Has the passion lost it's flavour
why are words like shifting sand.
Where will others really find you
when it's time to make a stand.

Aboriginal Australia
the guardians of this place
must show the way to all of us
they must say it to our face.

Tell the world like it really is
the whole story warts and all.
Get the medias attention
let the words rest where they fall.

All those who have come before us
walk the talk both day and night.
Mirrors held for our redemption
when waste is food we'll see light.

Forget the ones who trade their song
whatever shade they may be
with righteous views of damnation
judgment hanging in the trees.

The west has come to trade off you
it's the land they'll kill to haunt.
They'll deceive you with their love and
blow your brains with earthly wants.

They create only to destroy
to feed on growth set in time.
They consume lost minds with deformed
religions, to steal you blind.

Forty thousand years of freedom
balls of light inside the mind
re-absorbed in natures passion
the ALL in song, sung this kind.

The long march is what is needed
to capture what's in us all.
The true essence of your presence
show the way before we fall.

Within our minds relax your pain
take the stage you're meant to fill.
Empty the bush to fill the streets
let us join you on the hill.
