 Have you waited for me

I remember every whispered muttered sound...
Every napkin
The glasses of water
The ice cream extra's
It all started so strangely
A gob full of ice cream
Needed to tell a child not to splatter me
In milky ink
I couldn't speak so i said
UUUUUMMMMMMP
To stop the boy then you could stop with me
You told me you loved me
I don't know if i can believe you
I did
Now i been put off all
From when i had the fall
The man betrayed me
Played me
Made a fool out of me
Said horrible
Disgusting things
If it happens again
I think i'll go up the wall
The situation is hanging on the wall
I got one more chance
One more time
To make it all alright
You don't seem the type to do what he did
Except i said the same about him too
Then look at how the mirror reversed the image
Now i may get back to you
Except i try to forget you
People loved me and refused me
Now i don't want to humiliate myself
If you've not waited for me
Decided i wasn't worth it
That you would move on, but if you haven't
I'll make you the happiest man alive
I'll make all your dreams come true
Except you need not be thanking me
Thank your Lord
Who gave us this chance.
