Just A thought
They rumble and ramble inside of your brain
Logic conceived sometimes insane
Stirring the pot melting in you
Of thoughts one has, more than a few
They stretch along a great divide
Some spoken, some kept inside
Connecting dots from heart and soul
To your opinions strongly you hold
In color or black and white
At times so wrong but feeling right
They ride the crest of solitude
With sentiment and attitude
They dream amd scheme to win the day
Teasing, coaxing, come out and play
Don't be shy, I'm part of you
Share me with them, some thought they knew
They come sometimes to raise the dead
Once given thought inside your head
They scream and cry out let me be
Costing nothing, they speak freely
They hold captive if given time
Cutting the edge, crossing the line
Opinion yours, if just a thought
That came to mind, that others sought
