Now today I had a knock on the door;
And there before me stood two guy's,
One called Clarke and one called Lex,
Blimey what a surprise!
Now Lex hasn't got a baldy head,
And I don't think Clarke could fly?
But they thought they could change my mind,
Well of course, I thought; ‘they can try!'
But I am as stubborn as I am true,
And they had no chance of that!
But his sales talk, talked me round,
So I sat and listened to his chat!
I wanted to know what the con was?
But David told me true;
‘I promise you there isn't one!'
‘N.power is all beneficial to you!'
So eventually I called them indoors,
But not before he showed me his ID,
Cos he did that within the first few seconds,
And I'm a suspicious lass you see!
So I listened to his chat again,
And thought to myself right there,
‘I just may swap over to you lot!'
Cos what I'm paying now is unfair!
So he chatted to me for ages,
And made sure that I understood!
Told me if I ever had a problem to phone!
And of course, I said that I would!
So I decided to make the change over,
And I signed on the dotted line!
And now he will sort it out for me,
And I told Clarke and Lex that's just fine!
Now I'd like to give my thanks and praise,
To these two hero's', Supermen, that's true!
