DRIVING TO MEAN TOWN

God, forgive me for taking a ride
You know that in my poetry I hide
The hate, anger, desertion I feel
It is me, and I am real

Maybe I am bad
For being happy that he's sad
He had his chance to move away
Three years was long enough to play

Out this hurting game
Putting him to shame
Writing this mean poetry
Forgive me God I want my way

Or no way at all
I am tired and I'll fall
If I don't get the hurt out
So hear my pain oh Lord I shout.
