Once Upon a Time ღ KKD ღ
Once Upon a Time
I stare into this glass
so sparkling and bright
Remembering back not so long
to such a magical night
You were my Prince
I was your Queen
The love that was shared
like never before seen
I remember the laughs
the joy ... the bliss
now looking in this glass
Oh how I do miss
I will forever remember
the you that never will be
I will cherish it all
held deep within me
The You that became
ugly and mean
Will never dance upon
my remembered dream
The hate and evil
you chose to cast
will never venture beyond
yesterdays past.
The ugly you
that was viciously spent
I pray one day
for you to repent
The ugly and mean
was never needed
Just the honesty
that I daily pleaded
The man that stood
above all the rest
could never pass
his own self test
For you I feel
such deep sad sorrow
and pray that you never
have to face you tomorrow
The ice with in your chest
you portray as a heart
I would pray for death
before it could make its start
The hardest part of all
for this heart and life of mine
is knowing it all was but a fantasy
of Once Upon a Time
