What We Had
What We Had
Oh it's here
everything I want
I have been skating in circles
say you will
say you won't
and the ending don't ever feel this good
it's just we never could
wrap our heads around
what we had......
Thinking over, getting over you
but just like the seasons
you come back around
and I can't be bitter
you was the best I ever had
the history don't lie
just like these photographs
and I took you everywhere
my sweet dear friend
all along my roller coaster path
and it comforts me so
you never forgot
just like I didn't
you stay in my memory
a person I will never forget
and so I know now.....
It's here
everything I want

I think we all should believe in miracles
and the ending don't ever feel this bad
it's only how I remembered it
and the end even as I stand alone
I have to smile
on what we had......
