Right/Write Before Your Eyes
It sits before the naked eye
Love silent, ones need to sigh
To bring comfort, to set at ease
A soul searching to be appeased
You chance that it will always be
Around to touch and it to please
But not so true, for it too needs
Attention poured deflowered seed
It grows with what you shed on it
Dies not flamed, candle unlit
Lights the dark inside of you
Showers affection, with tears of dew
Sets aside a table for two
Inside a heart where heard are coos
That call speaking these three words few
Whispers unheard that " I love you "
It toys and plays inside of hearts
It heals what once was torn apart
By flames blown out by heartaches wind
Leaving it's spark alive within
Crashing with waves, upon a rock
Now pebble, unloved it mocks
To rise again from ashes born
Cindered remains of love once scorned
Right before in eyes you close
Write before written it goes
Leaving your mind where loneliness
Holds your heart with emptiness
