Chasin' it 'round the yard
with her meat cleavage (cleaver)
Bold, fierce, unafraid of
grabbing those wings
Twisting that neck
chopping it off
Draining the blood

Plucking the skin
cleanin' the bird
with water pumped
from "up yonder"

Dressing and stuffing it
starting the wood for it
Sweat pouring down
"Fore the comfort of
southern chicken in
summer would be found.
