Solitude

snow clean, pure, white, like a sheet

laid at my weary snow-clad feet

as I walked through the woods

barren snow covered trees stood

opened their arms to greet me

for they all could see

I was in search of something

for I had nothing

the beauty of the snow

with its glittering glow

hypnotized and drew me in

I then, would spend

an entire day walking as the trees

snuggled together so I wouldn't freeze
