in still of night and dark of day
the petals torn and then are weighed
their weight determined by their course
and then in halves and then in fourths
so light the light of soul pavanes
it neither hinders nor restrains
when shadowed by the dark at noon
or e`en when speechless like the moon
and in its place a bud has formed
from light to dark it is transformed
as pallid brush is dipped in black
between the colour is a crack
when light is light it still is dark
as dark will arc and leave its mark~
