DEVIL   MAY   CARE

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Throwing back my bed sheets and curtains
Kicking my legs
From downiness of bed
Seeming to have woken with badness in mind
What I might do
Fills me with trepidation and dread.

I feel wicked
I feel evil
I feel naughty,
The devil has provoked me, he
Will warm his hands on my sins
Sitting beside his coal hot fire
Urging me to do silly things.

Temptation is so great
I hardly dare venture out
So many lures will be set for me to be caught
Walking down the street
Overpowered by demon
Oh hell, this feeling must be fought.

I want to sing and dance in all of the puddles
Pinch that guy's bottom as he stands there so cute
Go skinny dipping in the park fountain
Hoist my skirt and slide slippery balustrade shoot.

Oh dear, whatever would mother think
Even daughter would shake a knowing head
Darn it, I hope when I wake up tomorrow
I will feel exactly the same as I leap out of bed.
