 My today's thoughts

MY IRISH TEMPER

MY IRISH TEMPER

I  don't understand people - I wish I did
I wrote a poem about the way I feel about 9 - 11 - 2001
One of the most senseless and wanton acts of violence in my lifetime

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The response I received was from kind to rude
Some were border-line crude
Some left their name
Some wrote and left without saying who they were
 9 - 11 did happen the towers did fall
We saw the plane fly into them and the Pentagon
Some say our government was the terrorist
that did this horrific act
I for one disagree
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There would have been to many secrets to keep
We all know that secrets are next to impossible not to spread

This was not the first attack we had on the USA
Remember - The Cole - I could go on with the list
9-11  was the one that made us say enough is enough

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank God,  We have a leader who stood the ground
and did what he thought was right
He doesn't put his finger in the air
 to see how the winds of change are blowing
I am soooooooooo thankful that
Al Gore was not the president then
He could have been  -  I said could not should
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It is easy to be a Monday morning quarterback
to say what plays he should or shouldn't have made to win the game
but there is only one that plays the game

I do not understand how Americans
and others can not understand this

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These conspiracy theories are just that
Theories - opinions -assumptions - speculation
and more than anything a dislike for President Bush
I say again
God Bless America
I pray we Americans will obey God
Shame on the people who believe otherwise
 It is hard for me not to let my Irish temper
get the best of me when I hear people saying
this was a conspiracy and other repulsive things about our President and Country
Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
PSALM 19:14
