Monster Poet Part II
There was no Mal intent behind
The words that praised one of a kind
That were misread and pressed some to
Address my friend and poet too
His name Richard, poet endeared
By many on this site we fear
Were lead astray by what we wrote
Monster Poet, a fire stoked
The word Monster was used by us
As compliment but raised a fuss
In many just like me are fans
Of his work, poetic man
Monster poet should have been read
To see greatness of him instead
It brought some to leave on his site
Complaints of words they thought were spite
The word monster was my tribute
Expressed respect of attributes
Not meant to read as others read
Like a cheap write insult instead
So please reread what you mistook
If you were one this poem shook
To think that we would chastise
A monster poet we think of wise
