Goodbye
I don't know what I was doing wrong
but I guess we don't belong
together after all
and throughout the moments
that we knew each other
oh to well
we never could understand
what it was that made us
have secrets to tell
maybe things were all to big
and our choices just not enough
to prove just how
we really cared
in it all it wasn't love
just a hope for something more
maybe a dream that we didn't share
if endlessness could just hold on
enough to show it wasn't fair
to make it all seem real enough
I had to read it over twice
but I guess we don't belong
