Septembers Song![]() The winds of fall will soon follow As summer ends where we once wallowed In pools aqua and under shade Umbrellas stuck on beaches played ![]() The warmth of Sun will dissipate As will our dips to saturate Our souls we tanned with oils of gold Now dry, alone, with hearts gone cold ![]() Leaves will fall from where they hung Strip tease our show had just begun Of Yellow hues and browns once green As we both kissed, lit by moon beams ![]() On bed we'd lay and also rolled With you gently in arms I'd hold Upon white sheets, whispers we'd share Of Summers end we both now bare ![]() Septembers song, sings its way in A taste of winter set to begin But for now it holds your touch Of Summers scent, I loved so much ![]() ![]() Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
