Absent Minded
To Teachers of the 7th grade
now you students are paying attention to the media
include them in it
as they do their writing assignments
tell them to write down their favorite artists
singers musicians
painters or whatever
and have them write to them
have the school pay the postage
have trhem look up on the inyternet their fan club for a research project
they can write anything to their artist
but they have to send something
the school should send it
and maybe one day they will have asong sung rto them by their favorite band
or have a part of changing the world
encopurage them to keep two copies of their letters because the artists
will never admit to recieving the letter
If something truly horrific arioses out of these letters is read
the schgools will be adressed
as people are paid to rteead these letters
and people will be concerned
trust me i live it
Get your students to write to someone famous they admire once amonth
and pay the postage
they might nevar admit anything to you
but to someon ethey look up to they will
and through this we will change the world
and the trouble makers will be found
and even the troublemakers have reason to be treoublemakers sometimes
it takes one voice to change the world we live in
in this soo called chaos
some encouragement to reach out to someone who cares with power
why not?
remind them they might never get an answer back
and some of them might even get swag!!
and hey you will be the coolest teacher
