The World's Hatred
If some people do hate you,
It is their own point of view;
Then they have hated God first,
Being the ones that are cursed.
If you belong to this earth,
Then that is all you are worth;
And its people give you love,
That is not gained from above.
For as His plan is unfurled,
You are not part this world;
He gave you a peace of mind,
For leaving this world behind.
That is why you are despised,
By those to be civilized;
Since you do not think as they,
Like pagans everyday.
It is their sin and their guilt,
From the idols they have built;
But for you to be like Christ,
Resist not to be enticed.
