A Kiss on the Wing

From far away across the sea
My love comes on the wing
Carrying a kiss from me
And you will hear me sing
Happy Birthday Child of Mine
Your twenty-six today
And I'll know you'll be just fine
`Though I am far away
`Though I'm in a far off land
A mother can`t be bound
I'll still take you by the hand
I'll still be around
`Though in the place I am today
Your birthday has arrived
You are still in yesterday
You`re only twenty-five
Go for your dreams young lady
Be all that you can be
Remember your my baby
And I'll be home you'll see
Laugh a while and have some fun
Find some time for you
Never take time on the run
You will forget the view
