Racism breathes still today
The Jena 6 will get their day
In court and life in some that strays
Equal are all or so some say
There is disease inside of minds
That one doctor would die to find
A cure, a pill that would offset
The stupid ways of mans mindset
We lost our way and still we live
Like yesterday where no one gives
Respect and love to all GOD placed
Upon His Earth, man lives disgraced
Prejudice, defined one's right
Preconceived, adverse this plight
Where hate rears color and ethnic
Backgrounds, unknown with no respect
Ropes would hang upon a tree
Where arrogance roamed once freely
But not today as all the world
Will see faces this sin unfurled
A world diverse empty of peace
Country our own to say the least
Would know by now and see equal
The need to love by all GODS people
Maybe his dream fails to be dreamed
But progress is how man has schemed
The time to change so all could see
The dream King dreamed, shouting we're free
Free at last, free at last thank GOD
almighty we are free at last!
