Body (Alive)
My feet are cold,
My hands are numb,
My eyes are blind,
My lips are dumb.
My legs are weak,
My arms are lead,
My head is heavy,
My brain is dead.
(Chorus)
My heart is one,
My fingers, five,
My brain is dead,
But my body's alive.
My skin is rough,
My hair is long,
My voice is heard,
My conscience wrong.
My wrists are tied,
My ears still hear,
My nose stills smells,
The scent of fear.
(Chorus)
My heart is one,
My fingers, five,
My brain is dead,
But my body's alive.
My eyes can see most anything,
My ears can hear it too,
My body is a perfect one,
Compared, not even to you.
(Chorus)
My heart is one,
My fingers, five,
My brain is dead,
But my body's alive.
Body (Alive)
