Profit Seekers
Global warming,
One of many threats
facing today's youth.
Poison food,
Unending War,
Terror,
Drugs,
Thugs
And, now, fear of
losing their homes.
Is it any wonder
so many youth are uncouth?
Where can they turn
to find the Truth?
Why are we failing
this generation?
How will they, in turn,
fail us?
Who are we waiting for
to ask the right questions
in order to find solutions?
Profit seekers have stalled
integrity, or so it seems.
Why would Chaos
seem like the right direction
for America to head?
Will there ever be
enough dead
to stem the tide
of destruction?
Too many must believe in doom.
Maybe that is why there isn't any room
for debate?
I am mystified as I watch the news unfold.
It seems like everyone has lost their minds
in a desperate pursuit of gold.
