Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
The only thing I can change is the clothes I wear
I wanted to change the world,
Let the open minded breathe,
Help the closed to radically morph.
Inside me these words seethe.
I set out to traverse the earth,
Leaving punctuation in my footsteps.
I came across my own backyard,
My words, they died. I wept.
My loudest scream ran through the woods,
But still could not be heard.
My soulful wails, my mournful voice,
Traded for silence. They see me. I'm absurd.
I wanted to change the world.
Let teh living die. Let the dying live.
But here I stand so ill equipped.
Another meaningless poem, to the world I give.
