MY METAMORPHIC SIXTIES
When I was just sixty-three,
I desired love and money,
And when I turned sixty-four,
I desired them more and more.
One September, I hit sixty-five,
And I was glad to be alive,
Later, at age of sixty-six,
I craved more fun in life's mix.
Now that I am all of sixty-seven,
And I'm closer to death or heaven,
The bread of life is very edible,
But romance is now quite incredible!
