Absent Minded

Metaphor for the fountain of youth

Two higher powers
one looks defeated
and tied to a chair

the other flying above and cornering him there

mind powers mind powers
mind powers led you there

One is definately good
one is definately evil
and you know thois after what you have been through

and in walks who
in walks you

what do you do

one is flying and powerfull
the other looks weak and tied to a chair
the one hovering using his psionoc forces to hold his prisoner
tells you in gasps
his hostage is an evil terror

the hostage begs and pleads
and tells you stories
of torment and torture
for months in your head for that is what led you there
you saw the whole fight in your third eye
and cried and cried
and cried and cried
and suffered like no other man before
and no one knows

and flash you are back in the room
and you dont know which one to blame
one is pleading you to untie him
the other begging you to flee for your life
the longer you stay there
the more often you are swept back in time to relive a nightmare
of a different sort of fight
and eventually you forget its about them
but yet you remember as ytou strive to get away
and it grows and grows
until poof your back at the room

one man tied to the chair pleading for his life
one man flying in the corner of the room
you can try to leave but what do you do?
the menatl anguish they are both experiencing is terrible
yours is excrutiating

I experience this nightmare again and again
eventually to the point where im crawling to the chair
in agony to untie the hostage
and then he turns out to be the bad guy and i die
and am reborn to run away
to live nightmare afdter nightmare for letting him get away
and i still dont know which one is the good guy
which one is the bad guy
and how i was soo lucky to be involved
and i can always tell when one of them is near
because i get a relly bad feeling
cry my eyes out
or get sick of life
and live in delusions for days

i got away
idont think ican get away again
i cant get away again
im hiding from on eof the evil beings
hoping the good one will find me
little do i know im being held hostage
and the good one is trying to rescue me
and only i can save hom in the end
by killing the hostage in the chair

but being a man
i know there must be another way

its like the fear of death
once you run away from the angel of death
the curse of the gods suggests
you should be a rock and not roll
for death will lurk very near to claim you
and once you take a sip from the fountain of youth
you may live forever but what surrounds you for an eternity
is a macabre horror scene of grotesque massacre
and you will not be surrounded in beauty
depending what is found within
echoes of you
echoes of me

do you dare live whats inside of you all around you
and claim to be your own god
the echoes of you
hold you as a hostage
do you dare drink form the fountain of youth
and bear its curse or behold its blessing
only the pure who have gone through the tests succesfully are ever truly ready
those who drinl before their time
are cursed with a rapture destiny
you will be your own god
echoes of you
echoes of you
if you do not love another or yourself
do not drink
