How does love live?
Past bittersweet regret?
Sometime it seems so impossible,
to forgive,
and to forget.
To turn the other cheek.
To let go of the pain.
Sometime it seems,
That seed of anger,
grows into hate,
And it seems to spread,
with every heartache,
We walk in our own sorrow,
In the cold winter rain.
Reaping what we sowed.
Because we once danced to close to the flame.
It's a fine line.
that seems to separate.
That feeling of love,
and that feeling of hate,
Sometime it seems.
the road is way too long,
And love's dreams.
are now gone.
If only we had wings.
and that soulful birds song.
We could rise above heartache.
And take love away from the hands of fate.
But we seem to fall,
back to earth,
Sometime there is a flaw,
in us all,
Where we forget what love is worth.
Until it's too late,
You can't take back the pain,
or relight the flame,
when love turns into hate
