Listening to the sound of rain.
As if it could wash away,
al of the earth's pain,
Washing away,
yesterday's sorrow,
Giving the world a clear drink of water,
A promise for tomorrow,
for the son and the daughter.
I listen as it gentle falls,
on the window pane,
The soft gentle sound.
of the falling rain.
It sounds so soothing.
to my soul,
And when it's over,
there will be a rainbow,
Someday hatred's wild fire,
will fianally be tamed,
Like the lamb and the lion.
We will all praise God's name.
Sometime this earth,
needs ease for her pain,
Maybe that's why,
God sends the rain.

Fallng on my window pane,
Outside I see a rose ,
that has felt the sky's tears,
It still grows,
and a rainbow appears.
To me it shows.
That God always hears,
He sends peace to our souls,
And whispers in our ears,
