The Prayers Of The Saint And The Sinner
With both hands and head in the air he shouted for all the world to see.
(unjustified)
O Lord Of Mercy I call
Place my statue beyond St. Paul
I can't be compared to these common trees
No other on earth produce fruits like these
Glorify me with thy shine
And set my name right under thine
Lift not so much as his head
(justified)
O Lord Of Mercy I call,
give me a revelation like
thy servant St. Paul,
But take not my eyes
lest I see not thy hand in this
But let thy goodness touch
this sinful soul
And forever fill me with thy kiss
