Poetry For Everyday People
I Keep It All Hid In Here
Hot cup of coffee
new day's here
life's new in the morning
work hard for my beer
nothing fancy sir
I do my job well
every third Saturday
I pay off all my bills
One room with a garden
two friends and a lot of dreams
not as crazy as I use to
I keep it all hid in here
been there friend
been caught there too
love ate my heart smiling
before I can eat it too
wrinkled gray me
feel young as I been
what you see is what you see
the rest is just pretend
one room with a garden
two friends and a lot of dreams
not as crazy as I use too
I keep it all hid in here
you know
I keep it all hid in here
you know
we keep it all hid in here.
new day's here
life's new in the morning
work hard for my beer
nothing fancy sir
I do my job well
every third Saturday
I pay off all my bills
One room with a garden
two friends and a lot of dreams
not as crazy as I use to
I keep it all hid in here
been there friend
been caught there too
love ate my heart smiling
before I can eat it too
wrinkled gray me
feel young as I been
what you see is what you see
the rest is just pretend
one room with a garden
two friends and a lot of dreams
not as crazy as I use too
I keep it all hid in here
you know
I keep it all hid in here
you know
we keep it all hid in here.
