Object of Faith Some will say faith in God is a crutch You have religion and are out of touch They agree that faith is all that you need But what is the object of that faith indeed? By looking up faith in the dictionary, we see A definition that becomes clear to you and me It is a belief and trust in and loyalty to God For He is all you need on the path you trod Maybe your faith is focused on your ability You continue to try hard in every reality If you are relying on your own will-power What happens when your plans go sour? Putting your trust in God really makes sense So please don't ever think it is all nonsense The problem is that people do not understand Who God is and they don't see His eternal plan Perhaps you don't even know where to start Much less how to deal with pain in your heart You can talk to God like you do a close friend Be honest and He will help you to the very end Maybe this is the cry and prayer of your heart today God, I reach out to You, help me, I have lost my way All that I have tried has failed and I am without hope I need Your strength every hour so that I can cope You see, my friend, God cares so much about you He knows everything that you are going through Don't be afraid to take that first step of faith today Your life will have new joy and purpose each day Hebrews 11:3 (NIV) By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
