Childhood freedom reminisceDo you remember the times We played on the lane At 423 langsett road I knew now how much you loved playing with I I knew before Except now i am older I reminisce from my hood I see all my memories Cramped under a loose hood They flow freely to my mind All in my blood The 3 perfect floors We'd hide and seek All loved our big home It wasn't ours forever Still i remember how much everyone loved our open door We'd let you all play My mommy was just so happy to see that we had friends who really cared Who loved us for who we were Not caring about the skin or culture I remember when we could the twinkles of the ice cream truck We'd run to the truck Watch our favourite lollies pop out the freezer or the ice cream scooped into perfect scoops Or the machine creamy and whirly swirling around and around topped off with half a flake We'd sit on the steps and eat our ice cream The parks and picnics i'd go on forever Even about the toys and arguments Even if you or I hurt eachother we'd blame it on the fall We were best friends forever You are my best friend in the whole wide world I cry with my reminisces of our childhood freedom Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
