Absent Minded
looking for the one mind we all are
a collective
an unconcious
is there a leader
and we all followers?
whose planting those seeds
the children spill at your feet
or whatever other way around
what do we keep retyping and retyping to never condense
the heart of the matter to find out what its all really all about?
Im calling
i'm asking
I'm looking
for the one mind
the mind we all are
the mind we all come from
the mind that writes our chapters
am i just a thought that ceases to live when neglected the attention
in anothers mind
am i a book put on the shelf that plays out
the same way
everytime you read it
and my soul is stuck inside
were all looking for aleader
and we follow that trend
we build them up
the leaders
we tech them how to lead
by following
so who is oin the lead
settiong up dominos of war?
I'm looking for that one mind
blind leading the blind
follow follow follow
follow follow
but off goes the one true leader
telling you how to do this
and when to do that
settin gyou all up for your successes and failures
and all you have to do is follow in line and hope your not forgotten
what are we wasting our time writing for?
when you condense it all down its the same thing
it even adds up tp the same letter and number
there is one mind
the leader
and he is unaware of who he is
and i am looking for him
wondering should i wake him from his slumber?
Look at the world
look at the wars
look at the state of society
we followed ourselves blind;ly off a cliff
if i wake him up are we ready to do it some more?
we buyild people up to be leaders
and follow them as they follow you
sure its a perfect circle society
but if it was working wouldnt we be getting along
and i wouldnt have to write this truth
we are at wars and have been forever
we are killing our parents children mothers fathers sisters and brotyhers
we got this way by following
following him her them you me and
I'm looking for that one mind
the one we try to be like
the one we dont even know but inside ourselves we all are
the one we all strive with our goals to be
im looking for the reason
im looking for the leader
of why we do what we do and when and how
and the answer to soo much synchronicity
There is a mind out there
showing us how to follow by being our leader
there is a mind out there
we all try to think like
and throw away our human nature
you can take anybody
any story
and push it until it becomes that mind
but thats not the real truth
just a decoy of a church
and the real mind setting up his dominos of destruiction
and blind leading blind chaos of peacemaking for more war
is still on the loose

talk like
think like

the liar in all of us
the story teller dreamer
paranoid grandiose heart breaker
cause once i find that mind
maybe i will be able to ask him
where i put me
If im a product of everyone and everything
and how i survive is what makes me what i am
if every thought out there has been thought
then i am merely here collecting them
seeing which thought triggers which emotion
and writing it down with imagery
