 Penniluck's legacy

Brigadoon

By the light of a misty moon
I made my way to Brigadoon
Trees in blossom on the ridge
Led me to the magic bridge

Birds of many colours there
Softly singing in the air
Palm trees dancing in the breeze
Gently buzzing honey bees

Rolling hills with grass so green
Such a place you`ve never seen
In great profusion bowing low
Rainbow flowers all aglow

By the rippling silver brook
Fairies play within the nook
A single rose peeps through the gate
Waits for others who are late

Morning comes with glinting rays
I meander through the days
Butterflies of every hue
Soaring high up in the blue

I must leave this all to soon
I shall return to Brigadoon
When one hundred years have passed
Until then my dream will last
