I wonder
I wonder
I wonder what would have happened
if they had taken care of me?
would I be this frightened mess
or someone bold and free?
I wonder what would have happened
if I could have been the child instead?
instead of having to be the ''Adult'' without
a clue how inside of my head?
I wonder what would have happened
if my childhood was never abusive?
instead of just a big blank void
all full of lies and excuses?
I wonder what would have happened
if I had grown normally instead
but I will never know that
except by imagination inside of my head
